Sall Lam Toro (DK/PT) is a multidisciplinary artist mainly working with conceptual live art, poetry, video performance and embodied practices such as butoh and improvisational dance. She is interested in deconstructing, re-signifying and examining the tensions between social and visceral body through concepts of decolonization, rhizome philosophy, and queer theory.
She is also the curator and founder of NEPTUNE: Performancekunst Salon which is focused decentralizing the arts from a peripheral or marginalized perspective and on developing an environment for site-specific art in the area of Gellerup, Aarhus in Denmark.
“I collaborate with UAC because I am drawn to its practices of involving and engaging audiences with artistic experiences and their interest in the concept of sharing.”
