Leave No Trace / Beach Coffee Break

Join us in setting up the “Leave no trace” signs Concept: It’s an event that aims to engage Aarhus citizens in taking care of their (our) city!
We have the goal of clean the forest while we set up signs to engaged people on collecting there trash with a fun mood and have some time connect with people. After collecting the trash we will make a trash art figure and dispose the trash. At the end we will meet at a bonfire to feedback about how to do social engaged art in our city.
Why go to clean up the beach?
From news, documentaries and videos of everyday life, we are bombarded with information showing, that a lot of garbage, especially plastics, goes to the ocean affecting marine life and us (humans) when we feed on marine beings. The intention of this project is simply to make a little difference in the nature close to our community, through a cozy event, with hopes of bringing the topic of garbage in nature under debate.
Remember to bring your Coffee / Tea cup For the trash collecting will be offered gloves and trash bags
